I realised they really are an inquisitive bunch.....They really left me speechless a couple of times...
Heres an example of a conversation we had
And just to be discrete lets call them cousin1, cousin2, cousin 3 and brother...n btw, all 3 of them refer to me as chechi ( its a malayalee thing)
cousin 1 : Chechi, a boy in futsal told me about a word...what does it mean ?
ME : Well, how am i gonna explain it 2 you if you dont tell me what the word is ?
Cousin1 : hmmm.....let me think.....it starts with a "P". I cant remember the word. what does it mean ?
ME : How am i supposed to know what it means ? You havnt even told me the word....
Cousin 2 : OH ! i think i know what word hes talking about......
Cousin 1 : I remember !!! the word is .... the word is...ummm... porn....i think...whats porn ?
Cousin 3 and brother breaks into giggles.......
Cousin 2 : Porn is a lake
ME : A lake ???!
Brother : Yeah ... a dirty lake...a very dirty lake.....( laughs like mad with cousin 2 and 3 )
ME : what the ........??? ( trying to process what i just heard...my god !...did i just hear a dirty joke from a 12 year old ? )
Cousin 1 : Chechi, is that right ? Porn is a lake ? Where is it ? in Malaysia ?
ME : Ummmm...Not exactly... Porn is kinda like a video.....
Cousin 1 : What video ??
ME : Adult videos.....
Cousin 1 : oh....what do they show there ?
ME : adult doing things....
Cousin 1 : what things ?
Cousin 3 : disgusting things ...haha !
ME : ermm.. illegal things.....so its bad for you to watch it....
brother : erm yeah! illegal things....like drugs !
Cousin 2 : I saw 2 men behind my Kumon centre taking drugs...so scary..
Cousin 1 : And the boy from futsal asked me 2 check out a website....its sumthin tube...
ME : youtube ?
Cousin 1 : no....i think its redtube...
ME : OMG !!!!!!! nono...dont eva visit that website ok ?? Its not good
Cousin 1 : why ? How do you know ? Have you visited that website before ?
----- total silence...and all 4 eyes turn to me-------
ME : Of corce not ! I just heard about it from my frends... N i read about it in the newspaper....since its illegal, the police will catch you if u put that website on...
Cousin 1 : why will the police catch ?
Cousin 2 : Because the want to put you in jail lah !
Cousin 3 : but how do they know if we are on that website
Cousin 2 : The government knows everything your doing ......
Cousin 1 : But why must the government check our websites ? How can they do that ?? Are they spying on us ?
Me : You ask too many questions......these are all adults bussiness..you will know when you grow up
Cousin 1 : Then how come cousin 2 knows ? hes younger than me
Me : I really dont know.... emmm..... hes wierd
Cousin 1 : then how will i know later on ? how did you all know ?
Brother : When you old enough you will just know.... It will just suddently come in to ur brain...then youll understand everything....

This is by far the wierdest conversation ice ever had with a bunch of kids..... They knwo wayy to much for their age.......when i was about their age , i was absolutely clueless...boy, how times change...
We spent the rest of the night playing board games , PS2 and carem.....Until they started getting way too noisy and rough..then i locked myself in the room with my computer.....I wish i could say peacefully but then i would be lying.....they were bangging on the door the entire time.
Then i had to go 2 bed early because cousin 1 was supposed to sleep in my room but hes apparently afraid to sleep alone because he recently watched a ghost movie and was anticipating an attack when the light were to go out.....And I obviously had to sit there with him until he fell asleep....haihhhh
A troublesome bunch they are....but i still adore them....boys will be boys... :)
